You will love this awesome and easy-to-prepare mix from The Resident Chef! We love to add a variety of meats to change things up, haven't found a bad one yet! Any thing you have available will work well in this mix. Great with poultry, beef or seafood. Try it many different ways!! Top it off with your favorite hot sauce for that extra little kick!
Directions Add Spice packet, beans, rice and 4 cups of water to a pot. Place 1 lb of smoked sausage link, chopped or sliced, in the pot and stir until all ingredients are combined. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a medium/low simmer. Cook for 30 minutes. Adding a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies will give this recipe a little extra spice.
